A valued culture of volunteers at Sydney Royal Easter Show
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is an important, inclusive, cultural event that impacts industry and economy alike. Revenue generated across all 12 days is invested back into agricultural programs, competitions, education and youth throughout regional and rural NSW.
But none of it would happen without the dedication of hundreds of volunteers.
Volunteers are an integral part of the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Previous Shows have seen as many as 500 guest services volunteers work across a variety of areas including customer service, children's activities, and patron engagement. Without volunteers generously devoting their time to the Show, it wouldn't be the successful event that it is today.
The people who work at the Show believe in the mission of engaging, educating and entertaining our community on the importance of agricultural excellence, innovation and sustainability, and value working with like-minded people.
Our Easter Show Volunteers are some of our most valuable assets, and we truly appreciate their passion. It is their commitment to make the Sydney Royal Easter Show a safe and enjoyable experience for all Showgoers that makes them so special.
Volunteer recruitment commences in early January - February each year. Roles are varied and can include ushers, information agents, and children’s activities assistants. We'd love to have you on board and invite you to visit the official event volunteer webpage for information on how to apply.
