Diversity and inclusion at the Sydney Royal Easter Show

At the 2024 Sydney Royal Easter Show, approximately 200 conferees will take one of the biggest steps of their lives and receive Australian Citizenship, taking a pledge and oath to officially call Australia home. 


The ceremony, open for all Showgoers to witness, is incredibly moving and serves as a reminder to all of us how blessed we are to live in the land Down Under. RAS Patron and Governor of NSW, Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, is invited to act as Presiding Officer, alongside RAS President John Bennett OAM, and government representatives.


The Sydney Royal Easter Show celebrates our uniquely Australian culture, which makes it an incredibly appropriate opportunity for 200 of our newest citizens to repeat their pledge in front of friends and family.
