Seniors Day $20 admission includes all public transport and a FREE cuppa at the Seniors’ Hub on the Heritage Pavilion Lawns, Grand Parade. While there, take the opportunity to drop in for a chat with the friendly staff from the Energy & Water Ombudsman NSW, Seniors Rights Service, Legal Aid Commission of NSW, NSW Trust & Guardian, Ombudsman NSW, Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman and Australian Financial Complaints Agency. All Ombudsman services are free, fair and independent. They manage complaint issues that you are unable to resolve.

Totally irresistible! Aged between 3 - 6 months, these little guys romp and roam their way around the ring, capturing hearts everywhere they pass. Each afternoon, you will be treated to an absolutely adorable display as Best Baby Puppy of the day is awarded their ribbon.

If you’re a dog lover, the new Festival of Dog Sports is not to be missed. Taking over the Dog Lawns once the competition wraps up for the day, the Festival of Dog sports will see impressive canines show off their best tricks in ‘fly ball’, ‘scent works’ and ‘dance dogs’ displays.

Established in 2011, this is now one of the biggest frog and reptile competitions in Australia, as well as one of the most popular amongst all Show visitors. Non-venomous snakes, lizards and a range of frogs are judged on appearance and breed standard, so they are certainly not your common garden variety lizards! Australian Wildlife Displays will be hosting talks and displays every day of the Show inside the Pet Pavilion.

Not only are goats incredibly curious, they also love to have fun, and what is more fun for a baby goat (also known as a kid) than climbing? Our goats can spend all day climbing up and down their man-made mountain. These kids are natural dare devils and enjoy nothing more than a game or two of ‘king of the mountain’!

Answering the age-old question... obviously the egg came first! Watch as little cracks appear and our baby chicks take their first tentative peep at the world around them. It's a magical sight for young and old... On average an egg takes 21 days from laying until the first 'pip' or crack appears and we have them hatching every day at the Show.

The sensational skills of super-speedy champion shearers are showcased every day of Show, along with secrets from the shearing sheds and stories straight from the sheep-shearer's mouths. And if that's not enough, each shearing session some audience members are invited to take up the clippers and give it a go.

Life is sweetest when you have a place to call home, somewhere to rest your weary head and body after a hard day at work – and bees are no different. Help our fuzzy honey-makers with an environmentally friendly hotel they can check in and out of in between flitting to the flowers in your garden. Without bees 75% of our food crops would not exist, so these hotels are as much for our benefit as theirs. The Bee Hotel Workshops are free for children and all materials are provided – along with a helping hand making them and hints and tips for hanging your hotel at home.

So, how does wool get from the sheep's back onto yours? You'll find out in this display which demonstrates how wool is collected, prepared, spun and knitted into clothing. Here you'll also learn about other wool craft including crocheting, disk braiding and latchhook. The Yandiah ladies who run this display every day of the Show, have volunteered their time for many years. They are tireless in their efforts to promote wool and its benefits.

Farmer Dave has been a Show favourite for years, but we all know it’s the dogs he brings with him that truly draw an audience. Whether its Fun-gility or demonstrating the best way to resist Temptation Alley, Farmer Dave’s dogs tug on the heartstrings and remind us all why they are man’s best friend. Dave brilliantly combines entertainment with education and teaches us everything we need to know about dogs – 7 times a day in the Pet Entertainment Arena brought to you by Sushi Hub.

Audience members can take to the stage to do exactly as the florist has done... can you mirror the work of a professional, in front of a live audience? Each day fearless flower lovers from the audience will go up against our florist. Win or lose it doesn’t matter - you'll create your own gorgeous display to take home!
