Easter Long Weekend Itinerary

School’s out and the long weekend is nearly upon us. The Sydney Royal Easter Show is the place to be. Plan your trip to the Show as a part of your family tradition – if it isn’t already. There are hundreds of events and rides, thousands of animals and exhibitors, and endless ways to plan the show, your way.

The all-new Show Buddy is a go-to guide on event times, showbags, food vendors and more. Just ask it a question and Show Buddy will help you right away!

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is open from 8:30am to 9:00pm. Once you arrive at Sydney Olympic Park, enter via the Main Gate on Olympic Boulevard. You can collect a map and schedule at the MasterChef information booth. Information wristbands for the kids are also available.

Easter Weekend

Rides, showbags, woodchopping championships and rodeo challenges – there’s something at the Show for the whole family.

Here’s the daily highlights to check out for Easter:

ANIMALS: Did you know there’ll be over 13,000 animals onsite during the Show? Pat a Chick, feed the playful goats, sheep and geese at the Farmyard Nursery, walk an Alpaca, or meet Sydney Royal celebrity, Brock the Boar.

SHOWBAGS: You’ll be spoilt for choice which some 400 types to choose from at this year’s Showbag pavilion.

RIDES: Experience epic heights and gravity-defying thrills on the classic and all-new rides at Sushi Hub Kids’ Carnival and Gong Cha Carnival.

ARENA ENTERTAINMENT: Grab a seat in ENGIE Stadium and prepare to be entertained by Olympic-level riders, heart-stopping motocross shows, rodeos, firework displays and more.

FOR THE FOODIES: Follow your nose and grab a classic Show feed from the stalls speckling the Showgrounds, or step into the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome for a selection of award-winning produce and gourmet tastings.

Sunday 20 April

4:40pm – 300mm Underhand Hard-Hitting Championship Final, Ugly Fish Woodchop Stadium

5:25pm 6:00pm – Sydney Royal Horse Show Tent Pegging Round 4 and Presentation, Main Arena

All day – Sydney Royal Rabbit Hopping Show, Pet Pavillion
